Can one machine specification apply to every product and pouch?
No. Output, dosing behavior, opening, sealing, cleaning, reject rate and changeover depend on the delivered configuration and the real product and package conditions. Model-level figures must be confirmed against the proposed application and test basis.
What should a pre-shipment FAT prove?
The FAT should prove the agreed functions and acceptance conditions that can be reproduced at the builder’s facility. It should identify the tested product and package, configuration, duration, measurements, pass criteria, deviations and any items that remain for installation or SAT.
How should warranty, service and compliance be compared?
Compare the written terms for the exact project: covered configuration, start date, exclusions, parts, remote and field support, travel, destination requirements, applicable standards and document deliverables.
