Send your beans, pouch drawing, target weight and required output for a matched proposal.

Compare their own size and speed ranges
Selected weigher has its own limits
The machine at a glance
From weighed beans to a sealed retail pouch.
A coffee bean packaging machine combines the selected weighing and product-feed equipment with a pouch-handling platform. In this premade-pouch route, the rotary machine receives empty pouches, opens them, accepts the measured beans, seals the pack and discharges the finished pouch.
The ZP family offers four reference configurations with different pouch widths and speed ranges. Start with the actual package and dose, then match the weighing system, opening, settling and sealing functions to your production needs.
Pouch formats & product fit
Choose the presentation. Approve the pouch handling.
The reference range includes several premade pouch styles. Final compatibility depends on the pouch construction and selected opening parts.
Retail presentation
Stand-up pouches
Confirm the bottom gusset, usable fill volume, top clearance and the accepted filled-pack shape.
Reclosable format
Zipper pouches
Review zipper opening, position and filling clearance. List the required opening device in the proposal.
Alternative supplied pouch
Flat & 3-side-seal
Match the magazine, grippers and opening behavior to the controlled pouch drawing and laminate.
For a pre-applied one-way valve, provide its position and the pouch drawing. Valve clearance and seal-area behavior need a trial; an automatic valve applicator is not established by the supplied reference equipment list.
Production value
Bring pouch handling and weighing into the same plan.
01 · Package fit
A route for branded pouches
Use supplied pouches with the approved laminate and retail format. Match reliable pickup, opening and seal presentation to the package your customers receive.
02 · Product fit
Coffee-matched weighing
Review bean size, bulk density, surface oil and fines when choosing the weigher and discharge arrangement. Set the dose and accepted variation before testing.
03 · Practical operation
Controlled machine operation
The source describes clamp-width adjustment, production parameter memory, speed adjustment and process alarms. Confirm these functions in the selected build.
Model selection & technical reference
Coffee bean packaging machine ZP model comparison.
Compare each model by its own pouch size, speed and utilities. These are equipment references; accepted output requires the actual beans, pouch and target dose.

Family reference
Pouch types
Stand-up, zipper, 3-side-seal and flat premade pouches. Confirm the supplied pouch and required opening devices.
Product dependent
Main-machine filling range
10–2,500 g, depending on product. The selected weigher, pouch volume and discharge arrangement have separate limits.
Utility planning
Compressed air flow
≥0.6 m³/min, supplied by the user. This is a flow reference; confirm operating pressure, air quality and auxiliary demand separately.
The quoted project in the source document uses ZP-8R200 with a 14-head weigher, platform and Z-type elevator. That combination is not assumed to be included with every ZP model, including ZP-8R300.

Inside the rotary machine
Open the pouch. Protect the filling clearance.
Stable pouch presentation gives the measured beans a clear route into the pack. Match top opening, bottom opening and gripper settings to the pouch stiffness, gusset and zipper rather than relying on width alone.
- Vertical pouch magazine and pickup behavior
- Top opening and selected zipper handling
- Bottom opening and selected settling vibration
- Filling clearance and clean sealing area
Working principle
From an empty pouch to a finished coffee pack.
The steps describe the process route. Final station count, order and options follow the selected model and approved configuration.
Feed premade pouches
Present the actual pouch from the magazine to the rotary handling system.
Apply the code
Define batch or date marking, print position and the selected coder.
Open & verify the pouch
Check top, bottom and zipper behavior before filling.
Weigh & fill the beans
Deliver the selected weighed dose with suitable transfer and filling clearance.
Settle the product
Use selected bottom vibration to reach the approved pack shape.
Handle trapped air
Use the quoted air-exhaust arrangement where specified and tested.
Heat seal the pouch
Set the sealing conditions for the approved laminate and clean seal area.
Finish & discharge
Review seal forming, cooling or discharge as configured and define the next transfer.
Controls & detection
Make operation clear. Test the interlocks.
The reference design uses a Siemens PLC and rotatable touchscreen with fault display and production parameter memory. Clamp-width adjustment and speed settings are selected as part of the operating configuration.
- No pouch: no filling or sealing
- Pouch not correctly opened: no filling or sealing
- Low air pressure and temperature-range alarms
- Safety-door alarm and production stop behavior
Agree alarm thresholds, guarding and the test for each function. The reference component list includes Siemens, Schneider, FESTO and Omron; the current approved bill of materials defines the delivered components.

Coffee dosing & line scope
Match the weigher to your beans and dose.
The pouch machine’s filling range and the weighing system’s range are different specifications. Select and test the dosing equipment separately.
Dosing module
Multihead weighing
Review the target dose, accepted variation and coffee behavior. Define the weigher model, discharge timing and cleanability.
Product supply
Z-type elevator or feeder
Confirm loading, level control, transfer height and product condition. Match the feed rate to the selected weigher and pouch machine.
Support & transfer
Platform and outfeed
Define weigher support, access, guarding and finished-pouch handling. Each supplied module belongs in the quotation and layout.
What do the source weigher references show?
| Reference | ZM-10 | ZM-A14 |
|---|---|---|
| Weighing range | 10–1000 g | 20–1500 g |
| Listed accuracy | ±0.1–2 g | ±0.5–2 g |
| Listed maximum weighing rate | 60 WPM | 120 WPM |
These are weighing-unit references, not guaranteed finished-pouch accuracy or line output. The source lists 220 V, 50 Hz, 1.5 kW for the weigher reference. The 14-head project does not establish a 2,500 g dose capability; confirm your dose, weigher and test conditions in the current proposal.
Pouch options & coffee requirements
Select the functions for your coffee pack.
Configuration review · 01
Zipper opening
Select and test the opening device for the zipper location, stiffness and usable pouch mouth.
Configuration review · 02
Bottom opening & vibration
The quoted project names bottom opening and vibrating. Define their role and acceptance for your gusset and filled-pack shape.
Configuration review · 03
Air exhaust & sealing
Define the residual-air condition and sealing window. Air exhaust during packing is separate from gas release through a valve after sealing.

Fines & dust handling
The source lists powder dedusting as an additional device. Review bean fines, cleaning and sealing-area protection for your application.
Configuration review · 05
Pre-applied valve pouches
Test valve position and clearance with the supplied pouch. An automatic valve applicator or nitrogen system requires its own technical and quotation review.
Configuration review · 06
Selected inspection
Quote coding verification, metal detection, checkweighing or other required inspection separately. Define reject handling and test responsibility.

Selected ZP rotary platform
- Named model and approved pouch formats
- Pouch supply, clamping and opening scope
- Coffee filling interface and selected settling functions
- Quoted coding, air handling and heat sealing
- Controls, interlocks and agreed changeover parts
Confirm what the main machine supplies for each approved pouch. Dimensions and a model name do not define every option or station.
Separately defined modules
Weighing, feeding & line equipment
- Named weigher with range and test basis
- Z-type elevator or selected product feeder
- Working platform, access and guarding
- Zipper opening and other selected devices
