What Is a Stand Up Pouch Packing Machine?
A stand up pouch packing machine, also called a doypack packing machine, is an HFFS system that unwinds roll film, forms the pouch, transfers it through opening and filling stations, and completes the final seals. The pouch geometry, film structure, dosing method and accepted output must be validated as one process.

HMK2000 Process Modules and Control Scope
Servo Film Transport and Film Alarm
The servo system controls indexed film length from the HMI. Film detection provides an alarm condition when the roll is depleted or the film state changes.
Zipper and Side-Seal Stations
The documented zipper route combines zipper application with staged side sealing. Seal temperature, pressure, dwell and cooling must be validated with the selected laminate.
Vacuum-Assisted Pouch Opening
Vacuum cups and mechanical assistance open the formed pouch before filling. An air-blow option can be evaluated when laminate memory or pouch geometry makes opening difficult.
Two Filling Stations
The two-station layout supports a project-matched dosing sequence. Auger fillers, weighers or pumps are selected after reviewing product behavior, dose range and settling time.
Intermittent Gripper Transport
The gripper track transfers each pouch through opening, filling and sealing. Gripper position and pouch guidance are checked across the approved size range during trial.
Touch-Screen HMI Control
The HMI centralizes speed, indexed length and temperature-related settings. The final recipe structure and access levels are confirmed with the supplied control scope.
Pneumatic and Vacuum Circuit
The documented configuration uses SMC and FESTO pneumatic components with a dedicated vacuum pump. Required air quality, pressure and consumption are confirmed before installation.
Guarding and Safety Review
