The machine at a glance
The next step after coffee capsule filling.
The WZTS-60 coffee automatic cartoning machine is a vertical-loading system for placing the approved product group into a carton and closing the pack. Its reference scope includes a connecting and feeding device; the operating interface is used to set the required number of items for the selected feeding arrangement.
The listed speed is 10–30 cartons per minute, dependent on the upstream coffee capsule filling machine and the selected product and carton. Confirm grouping, feeding, loading and closure together before setting the accepted line output.
Product & carton matching
Approve the pack. Then configure the machine.
The listed carton range is a selection reference. Carton behavior and the product loading pattern must be reviewed together.
Carton geometry
40 × 30 × 50 to 180 × 180 × 300 mm
Listed minimum and maximum carton sizes, L × W × H. Confirm dimension orientation, flap design, opening behavior and the exact format parts.
Product group
Define the items in each carton
Review capsule shape, count, orientation and any insert or tray. A carton within the dimension range still requires a product and loading trial.
Carton board is listed at about 350 g/m², depending on carton size. Board stiffness, folds, print finish and dimensional variation also affect carton handling. Diagrams illustrate the selection questions, not a supplied pack layout.
Production value
Coordinate the handoff. Finish the retail pack.
01 · Product transfer
Defined upstream connection
Review the connecting and feeding device against your capsule discharge, transfer height, orientation and accumulation needs.
02 · Pack completion
A complete carton route
Assess carton supply, loading, batch marking, end closure and discharge as one sequence using your production-intent cartons.
03 · Practical control
Control around the package
The reference component list identifies Siemens PLC and touchscreen. Agree recipes, selected inspection, alarm responses and changeover requirements.
Working principle
From product infeed to a closed carton.
The process describes the intended route. Final station sequence, monitoring and feeding equipment follow the approved layout.
Feed the finished product
Present capsules or another approved product to the selected feeding device.
Form the required group
Agree the count, orientation and arrangement for each carton.
Present carton blanks
Review magazine loading, blank separation and opening behavior.
Open & support the carton
Hold the carton in a suitable position for the approved vertical loading route.
Load the product
Transfer the approved product group without damaging capsules, lids or the carton.
Mark the batch
Specify the required batch number and marking equipment.
Close the carton ends
Apply the selected paper-tongue or hot melt closure route.
Discharge & transfer
Agree collection, selected reject behavior and the next equipment interface.
Carton closure choices
Choose the finish for your retail carton.
Paper-tongue closure
Tuck-in carton ends
Review flap geometry, locking behavior and carton stiffness. Confirm that the finished carton stays closed during the agreed handling test.
Selected glue configuration
Hot melt closure
A Meler hot melt unit is listed separately. Define adhesive, application pattern, compression and setting conditions for the intended carton.
A glued carton is not automatically a validated tamper-evident pack. Agree any opening, seal or presentation requirement with the carton design and acceptance test.

| Item | Reference value | Selection note |
|---|---|---|
| Model / architecture | WZTS-60 / automatic vertical loading | Confirm product feeding, grouping and closure in the approved layout. |
| Cartoning speed | 10–30 cartons/min | Reference depends on the upstream capsule machine and selected product/carton. |
| Minimum carton size (L × W × H) | 40 × 30 × 50 mm | Dimension orientation and format parts require carton drawing approval. |
| Maximum carton size (L × W × H) | 180 × 180 × 300 mm | A size-range match alone does not establish loading suitability. |
| Carton board | About 350 g/m² | Source reference varies with carton size; test stiffness and fold behavior. |
| Compressed air pressure | ≥0.6 MPa | Confirm regulated pressure, air quality and connection. |
| Air consumption | 120–160 L/min | Confirm current machine demand and selected auxiliaries. |
| Power supply | 380 V, 50 Hz | Review local electrical requirements with the current proposal. |
| Main motor power | 1.5 kW | Main motor reference, not a total connected-load guarantee. |
| Machine dimensions (L × W × H) | 3700 × 1650 × 1900 mm | Confirm the supplied equipment envelope, feeder and service clearance. |
| Machine net weight | About 1400 kg | Verify final build and shipping weight before lifting or floor-load planning. |
Control components, inspection and electrical notes
| Item | Reference / decision | Confirmation required |
|---|---|---|
| Controls | Siemens PLC and touchscreen | Current bill of materials and approved substitutions. |
| Electrical and sensing | Schneider contactors and air switches; DELTA power switch; Omron photoelectric sensors | Final model numbers, local electrical requirements and support needs. |
| Pneumatics | AirTAC component references | Current pneumatic list, pressure and air supply. |
| Product count / inspection | Source describes an item-count setting and a feeding mechanism with a weight detector | Define the actual detection hardware, logic, reject confirmation and records; do not assume a finished-carton checkweigher. |
| Total electrical load | Not specified by the 1.5 kW main motor figure | Confirm machine, glue unit and selected auxiliary loads together. |
Line matching
Match cartons per minute to the product inside.
Carton rate depends on the accepted upstream product output and the number of items in each carton.
Planning relationship
Accepted items/min ÷ items/carton = cartons/min
Illustrative example: 120 accepted capsules/min ÷ 10 capsules/carton = 12 cartons/min before allowances for stops, losses and transfer behavior. This is planning arithmetic, not a machine performance guarantee.
A connecting device does not by itself guarantee synchronization or eliminate every line bottleneck. Review the complete interface and test it with the agreed upstream machine.
