Quick answer

Choose the project route before the headline speed

A high-speed premade pouch line is a complete timed system.

Pouch presentation, opening, dosing, product settling, seal-area cleanliness and discharge must work inside one agreed cycle. The correct SG reference therefore depends on the pouch drawing and product behaviour, not speed alone.

Evidence boundary: the values below come from the SG-series table in a September 2025 budget proposal. The same source contains a separate SG260 project configuration, so SG260-specific liquid and side-spout equipment is not presented as standard SG320-series scope.
Reference comparison

SG210, SG320 and SG320D configuration boundaries

Use this table to shortlist a platform. Do not treat an “up to” value as guaranteed sustained output; accepted production speed is defined in the project URS and verified during FAT.

SG210120 × 150 to 210 × 300 mmUp to 1,500 mlUp to 50 pouches/min16 kWCompact single-lane reference where the confirmed pouch stays within the smaller format window.
SG320120 × 150 to 320 × 350 mmUp to 3,000 mlUp to 40 pouches/min16 kWSingle-lane reference for a wider pouch and larger fill-volume window.

The duplex size notation is reproduced from the source series table and must be confirmed against the controlled pouch drawing before release. Product, pouch, dosing system and FAT conditions control the final proposal.

Selection logic

Match the machine to the purchasing requirement

Compact route

SG210 reference

Start here when the pouch and fill volume fit the smaller single-lane range and the project does not require the wider SG320 window.

  • Confirm the smallest and largest controlled pouch drawing.
  • Test opening stability at both format extremes.
  • Record accepted output with the selected filler.
Wide-pouch route

SG320 reference

Use the SG320 reference when the project needs the wider source pouch range or larger stated fill-volume limit, subject to product settling and seal conditions.

  • Validate fill time and product settling before top sealing.
  • Confirm gripper and opening access for the pouch geometry.
  • Define change parts and recipe control in the proposal.
Duplex route

SG320D reference

Choose the duplex path only when the dosing system can feed both lanes consistently and downstream collection can accept the resulting discharge pattern.

  • Test cross-lane dose and pouch-opening consistency.
  • Measure accepted output, rejects and stoppage causes.
  • Include both lanes in the witnessed FAT protocol.
Process evidence

Pouch handling must remain stable before filling begins

The source quotation describes pouch-presence and opening checks plus mechanical opening assistance. These functions are intended to reduce avoidable failed cycles; they do not create a zero-waste guarantee.

SG-series premade pouch feeding station
Pouch feeding: confirm magazine loading, pouch separation and pickup stability with the real laminate.
SG-series pouch opening grippers and mechanical assistance
Opening control: presence and opening conditions should be checked before the filling command is released.
SG-series heat sealing jaws and thermal guard
Seal release: validate seal-area cleanliness, temperature, dwell and cooling with the approved pouch material.
Filling architecture

Select the filler and pouch machine as one process

The pouch handler controls timing and position; the dosing system controls product delivery. They must be tested together. Use the pouch filling system selection guide before approving a project configuration.

Liquids and pastesThe source includes a project-specific servo rotor-pump option for products without solid particles, with a stated reference viscosity up to 5,000 cP. It is not standard scope for every SG model.
PowdersConfirm powder flow, aeration, dust, dose and settling time before selecting an auger or another dosing route.
Granules and solid piecesConfirm product dimensions, fragility, target weight, drop distance and the required multihead or volumetric dosing arrangement.
Acceptance plan

Define FAT evidence before the purchase order

The source itself states that dose, pouch size and output require confirmation after receipt of product samples, packaging material and final testing. Put those conditions into the URS and FAT protocol.

Controlled samplesApproved product, pouch drawing, laminate, zipper or fitment and fill range.
Agreed run basisTarget duration, product condition, format, filler, lane count and downstream state.
Accepted resultsGood output, dose tolerance, pouch-opening failures, seal defects, rejects and restart checks.
Handover boundaryAs-built configuration, recipes, change parts, manuals, training, spare parts and service scope.

Questions buyers should resolve

High speed premade pouch machine FAQ

What is the reference speed of the SG320 series?

The September 2025 source series table lists up to 50 pouches/min for SG210, up to 40 pouches/min for SG320 and up to 100 pouches/min for the duplex SG320D reference. These are “up to” source values, not unconditional sustained-production guarantees. Final accepted output depends on the product, pouch, filler, lane balance and FAT conditions.

What pouch sizes are listed for SG210, SG320 and SG320D?

The source table lists 120 × 150 to 210 × 300 mm for SG210, 120 × 150 to 320 × 350 mm for SG320, and duplex notation of 120+120 × 150 to 160+160 × 350 mm for SG320D. The controlled pouch drawing and machine proposal must confirm the final range.

Can the same platform pack liquids, powders and granules?

The pouch-handling platform can be project-matched to different dosing systems, but the filler is not a generic interchangeable promise. Product flow, dose, particulates, dust, viscosity, settling time and cleaning requirements determine the dosing architecture and test plan.

Does no-bag/no-open detection eliminate all waste?

No. Detection and interlocks are intended to skip an affected filling or sealing cycle when the required pouch condition is not confirmed, helping reduce avoidable loss. They do not guarantee zero pouch waste, zero product loss or zero rejects.

How should the machine be accepted before shipment?

Agree the product, pouch, filler, format range, run duration and acceptance criteria in the URS. Then verify dose, opening, seal quality, good output, rejects, minor stops, alarms and restart behaviour during a witnessed FAT using approved samples.
